1. Acceptance of Terms
Legally binding contract between you and KaribKarir.
Welcome to KaribKarir ("Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and PT Karib System Development ("KaribKarir", "we", "us", "our").
By accessing or browsing our website, creating an account, submitting job applications, or using any feature offered by KaribKarir, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any provision contained within these Terms, you must immediately cease accessing and using the KaribKarir platform.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
Registration requirements and user responsibilities regarding credentials.
To register and maintain an active account on KaribKarir, you must satisfy the following criteria:
- Be at least 18 years of age or possess legal capacity under applicable law to enter into binding employment agreements.
- Provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- Maintain full responsibility for safeguarding your account password and all activities conducted under your credentials.
- Promptly notify KaribKarir upon discovering any unauthorized account access or security breach.
3. Platform Scope of Services
Services, features, and capabilities provided across KaribKarir.
KaribKarir provides an integrated ecosystem featuring:
- Job Portal: Browse, search, filter, and apply directly to verified employment openings.
- AI Career Builder: Automated resume generation, CV review, job match analysis, and customized career roadmaps.
- Skill Assessments: Interactive quizzes and standardized assessments to certify professional skills.
- Coaching Marketplace: Booking and conducting one-on-one virtual career consultation sessions with certified coaches.
- Magazine & Educational Insights: Industry news, expert articles, and micro-learning modules.
4. AI-Powered Features Disclaimer
Terms governing artificial intelligence outputs and limitations.
KaribKarir integrates cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to assist users with resume generation, interview practice, and personalized career roadmaps.
- Users must not utilize AI features to falsify work experience, forge qualifications, or produce deceptive application materials.
- Hiring decisions remain under the sole and independent discretion of respective employer companies.
Important AI Advisory Note
AI-generated analyses and recommendations are provided strictly as assistive advisory tools. KaribKarir does not guarantee absolute accuracy or employment outcomes. Users remain solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and taking ownership of any AI-assisted documents prior to submitting them to prospective employers.
5. Karib Credits & Transaction Terms
Purchase rules, credit balances, and non-refundable virtual unit policies.
Certain premium platform capabilities (such as comprehensive AI resume audits and coaching sessions) utilize a virtual currency called "Karib Credits".
- Exchange Value & Purchasing: The baseline reference value is 1 Credit = IDR 1,000 (or as detailed in bundled promotional packages). Credits are purchased through authorized platform payment channels.
- Non-Transferable: Purchased credits are tied exclusively to your registered account and cannot be transferred or traded to other user accounts.
- Non-Refundable Policy: All credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except where explicitly mandated by mandatory consumer protection statutes in Indonesia.
- Coaching Cancellations: Coaching session cancellations must adhere to the platform notice window (e.g. minimum 24 hours prior) to be eligible for automated credit balance refunds.
6. Intellectual Property Rights & User Content Responsibility
Ownership of user-submitted materials, portfolio legality warranty, and platform assets.
User Content Ownership & Legal Warranty: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights over uploaded resumes, portfolio showcases, project descriptions, and personal credentials. You expressly warrant and represent that you are the lawful owner or possess valid licenses/permissions to upload all materials, and that such content does not infringe upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights.
Limited Operational License: By uploading materials or media to KaribKarir, you grant the platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license solely to host, display, and process your materials as required to fulfill the platform's employment and career advancement services.
Platform Property: The KaribKarir name, logo, visual branding, user interface designs, codebases, algorithms, and editorial publications are the exclusive intellectual property of PT Karib System Development, protected under Indonesian and international copyright laws.
7. Prohibited Conduct & Content Policy (Anti-Pornography)
Strict prohibition of pornography, obscenity, content violating Indonesian law, and integrity rules.
KaribKarir enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against any content or conduct violating the statutory laws of the Republic of Indonesia, public decency standards, or professional platform integrity.
All user-submitted information and media—including portfolio images, project descriptions, profile bios, job headlines, attachments, and direct messaging—are subject to rigorous legal compliance.
- Uploading, publishing, storing, or transmitting portfolio images, artwork, photos, or text containing pornography, nudity, sexually explicit or suggestive depictions, or obscene material as prohibited under Indonesian Law No. 44 of 2008 and Article 27(1) of the ITE Law.
- Uploading or disseminating Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form; KaribKarir maintains absolute zero-tolerance and immediately cooperates with criminal law enforcement authorities.
- Uploading images, photographs, or creative assets that infringe third-party copyrights (Indonesian Law No. 28 of 2014) or trademarks without express authorized permission.
- Uploading content depicting extreme violence, promoting online gambling (Article 27(2) ITE Law), inciting ethnic/religious/racial hatred (SARA, Article 28(2) ITE Law), extortion, or unlawful defamation (Article 27A ITE Law).
- Posting fraudulent job openings, solicit recruitment fees from applicants, or operate deceptive hiring schemes.
- Misrepresenting your identity, employment history, or professional credentials in resumes, portfolios, and applications.
- Conducting automated data scraping, crawling, site mirroring, or reverse engineering of platform algorithms without express written permission.
- Uploading or transmitting malicious code, viruses, spyware, or attempting to breach system security architectures.
Legal Warning: Strict Anti-Pornography & Unlawful Content Policy
Pursuant to Indonesian Law No. 44 of 2008 on Pornography and the Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law (Law No. 1 of 2024, Article 27 paragraph 1), uploading, transmitting, or displaying images or data featuring nudity, sexual exploitation, pornography, or obscene material is strictly prohibited. Violations trigger immediate content removal, permanent account termination, and referral to the Indonesian National Police.
8. Warranty Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
As-is platform provision and statutory liability caps.
KaribKarir is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free site operation, nor do we guarantee that submitting an application will result in interview offers or employment.
To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, PT Karib System Development shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform.
Users remain solely and personally liable for the legality, authenticity, and consequences of all uploaded portfolio assets, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless PT Karib System Development against any third-party legal claims.
9. Account Suspension, Termination & Law Enforcement Escalation
Platform rights to remove illegal content, terminate accounts, and escalate offenses to authorities.
KaribKarir reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion for legal compliance and ecosystem safety, to take the following enforcement actions without liability or compensation:
- Immediately remove or disable access to any content, portfolio image, or profile data that violates applicable law or these Terms of Service.
- Temporarily suspend or freeze accounts undergoing internal compliance investigations.
- Permanently terminate accounts found to have committed material breaches, including the transmission of pornography, deceptive schemes, or unauthorized system intrusion.
- Escalate formal reports accompanied by digital evidentiary records (IP logs, timestamps, uploaded files, and profile details) to the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi).
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Indonesian jurisdiction and amicable resolution framework.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties agree to seek resolution through amicable good-faith deliberation (musyawarah).
If a resolution is not achieved within thirty (30) calendar days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court in Jakarta, Indonesia.
11. Amendments & Legal Contact
